The office of the President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate at the Capitol Building- the official home of Liberian Legislators, was the scene of what many referred to as “total madness” before employees and visitors, when the wife of Senator Milton Finley reportedly attacked him, releasing a few slaps and punches in his fore head for alleged extra-marital affairs.

Madam Kadiatu Diara-Finley’s attack, on last Friday morning, was characterized by insults and destruction of personal belongings of the President Pro-Tempt Gbezohngar Finley, including cell phones.

Mrs. Finley, with high temperament, had earlier received information from sources within the Capitol Building about her husband’s deep love affairs with a charming and ‘sparkling’ young Liberian girl currently carrying his baby.

Upon hearing such information, coupled with some facts, Kadiatu Diara-Finley, dressed in a short Jeans trouser apparently in readiness for battle, gave a ‘Ronaldo’ kick to force Senator Finley’s office door opened.

Capitol Building sources told the New Dawn Liberia that before employees of the chief administrator of the Liberian Senate could realize what was happening, their boss had already received several slaps and punches from his darling wife.

“This gone Friday, our office was not easy; our boss’ wife stormed the office before we could realized what she came for, we heard our boss shouting from his office, ‘stop this- this an office- especially public office,’ but she could not listen. My boss was very shame because some Senators, who were present during that time, came around. I say real slaps and bad insults that I cannot say to you now, were used on him for having an outside child,” the source said.

Kadiatu, a former aide to former President Charles G. Taylor, however, only stopped beating her husband in his official office following the intervention of employees.

According to the information, Pro-tempt Finley was totally embarrassed with the situation and ended up quietly returning home to change his clothes before his day’s work. Thinking all was over, his wife again beat him at home, further threatening to attack him physically if he was ever seen with this baby-carrying girl friend again.

Though the source failed to name Senator Finley’s baby-carrying lover, she was described as “an earth angel” - so beautiful, charming and intelligent, who always visited the office to meet the Grand Bassa County Senator.

When Pro-tempt Finley was contacted via mobile phone for verification, his phone rang endlessly-even an SMS text message sent by this paper could not lure him into responding up to press time.

When his spokesman, Mr. Moses Wenyou was also contacted, he denied the reports and termed the information as mere propaganda only intended to destroy the political image of his boss.

“I believe the information is coming from the political detractors, who are always engaged in these cheap gossips and falsehood,” he said in a weak tone.
