Liberian Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting 16-Year-Old Girl in Trenton, NJ

TRENTON — A Trenton man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl earlier this month, authorities said Monday.
Leon Nimley, 53, who is being held in lieu of $100,0000, faces charges of sexual assault, sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors said during a bail hearing.
Assistant Prosecutor Amanda Nini said police were contacted after the girl told a friend she was assaulted on March 15.
Nicole Carlo, Nimley's attorney, said her client, who is from Liberia but is a permanent U.S. resident, denies the allegations.
