Mary Wrongbe Nagbe

The Nagbe and Taplah families are deeply saddened by the irreparable loss of our wife, mother, sister, and aunt, Mrs. Mary Wrongbe Taplah Nagbe of Lowell, Massachusetts. This sad event occurred in the early hours of December 25, 2013 in the comfort of her home following a protracted illness.

“Aunty Mary,” as she was affectionately called, was born in Accra, Ghana on October 19, 1964. She completed her secondary education at D. Tweh High School in 1987 in Monrovia, Liberia. She later enrolled at the Saint Martin Commercial Institute where she obtained a certificate in Secretarial Science in 1993.

In 1998, she and her family traveled to the United States and have since resided in the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. Aunty Mary was also a certified nurse assistant and a former employee of Fairhaven Nursing Home and Glenwood Healthcare of Lowell, Massachusetts. She was a member of Christ Jubilee International Ministries in Lowell. She enjoyed cooking and fellowshipping.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Lorenzo Nagbe; two sons, Charles Nagbe Jr. and Samson Nagbe; three daughters, Nateena Jalarjue Dentor (Samuel Dentor), Charlene Nagbe and Christa Nagbe; two step daughters, Kathy Nagbe and Benetta Nagbe; one brother, Dennis Walker; one sister, Delphine Bull (Michael); four grandchildren all of the USA; and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States of America.
