The Roberts, Yancy, Morris, Carter, Payne and Cooper families announce with deep sadness and heavy hearts, the home going of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Eugenia Louise Roberts Carter of Sterling, Virginia. This heartbreaking event occurred on December 8, 2013 in Sterling, Virginia, USA. As we mourn her passing, we give thanks for the loving life she shared, and celebrate her glorious home going to her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Eugenia Roberts Carter was predeceased by her husband, Sammy David Carter Sr., her father Zachariah (Zach) Roberts, mother, Joanna Morris Yancy Roberts, sons, Bertram Reddi Walker and William Jones, grandson,

Zachariah B. Walker, and daughter, Claudia Carter. Her siblings, Isaac Roberts, H. Augustus Roberts, Sr., Clara Roberts-Hill, Charlie Roberts, Izetta Roberts-Bestman, Etta Roberts, Laura Roberts, Lafayette Roberts, John Wesley Payne, Julius Brooks Payne, Robert Roberts, William Roberts, Joseph Roberts, Esther Roberts, Adeline B. Neal and Ella Roberts.

Aunt Gene, as she was affectionately called, is survived by her children – Felicia Carter-Cooper (Edwin), Jacquelyn Carter-Harris, Cleopatra Carter-Aliotti, Eugene Alva Carter, Debra Zolo. Grandchildren – Reddi Walker, Joanna Cooper-Carter, Emmedy Harris, Jr., Monica Aliotti, Raymond Aliotti and her play daughter – Ada Morris.

She also leaves to mourn her loss, her sisters – Etmonia Roberts-Mathis, Louise Roberts, Julia Roberts, Tete Roberts, Angeline Roberts; her cousin – Izetta Roberts-Cooper and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. May Her Soul Rest In Eternal Peace!
