Mother Kpanah B. Harris
The death is announced of Mother Kpanah B. Harris, wife of Rt. Rev. Dr. Sumoward E. Harris, Bishop of the Lutheran Church in Liberia. This sad event occurred at the JFK Memorial Hospital at 9:00 p.m., March 7, 2012.
She leaves to mourn her loss seven children, Esther, Konah, Matthew, Samuel, Masue, Suah and Emmanuel; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends in and out of Liberia.
Funeral Arrangements
The body will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Parlor on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. and taken to the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on 14th Street in Sinkor for a night of wake keeping. Funeral service follows at the same church on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
The body will then be taken from the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. to the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Totota, Bong County for a night of family wake keeping; interment follows on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the family plot in Totota. Meanwhile, a book of condolence is opened at the Payne Avenue Compound on 13th street.
